In earlier tutorials we have talked about using the biggest search engine, so using Google, in this online learning tutorial, the next in our courses for seniors we demonstrate what a true phenomenon global Google has become. We demonstrate that Google has sites catering for populations all over the world and show you just how sophisticated using Google has become. We appologise but because of the speed that Google improves and evolves this video tutorial may well look out of date by the time you get to watch it!

Computer Basics – The Start Menu – Meganga First Click Courses for Seniors

The main navigation for all windows computers is through the start button in the bottom left of the computer screen, this computer lesson for beginners and seniors talks through the basic navigation of your computer.

As part of Meganga’s first click courses for seniors we have provided a tutorial demonstrating the elements that make up the start menu in Windows 7, the central navigation to any computer. The online learning tutorial for beginners shows you how to use the search box, where to find your programmes and shows you where your frequently used computer applications can be found. Learning to navigate around your computer avoids frustration when trying to find programmes and applications later on.
