Starting with alignment, this feature is crucial for creating visually appealing documents. By default, your text is aligned to the left. However, with a few clicks, you can centre your text, align it to the right, or justify it, ensuring both edges are aligned. To begin you need to highlight the text you wish to align. To do this you click your left mouse button and drag. You should notice the text is highlighted in blue. Once your text is highlighted you can then click on the alignment buttons as shown in the image. Try clicking on each one in turn to see the changes. The first button aligns your document to the left; the second aligns to the centre; the third aligns to the right and the fourth fully justifies your document. Fully justifies, means your text with have a straight edge on the let side and the right.
Now, let’s talk about line spacing. Adjusting line spacing is essential for readability. In WordPad, you can easily alter the space between lines to suit your document’s needs, making it more reader-friendly. Try out each one until you are familiar with the differences.
